Each Baker document can be configured differently by setting the various options. To access the Options window, open or create a Baker document and click on the Options... button.


This option let you configure your Baker document so that it will cycle through the list of news groups. When you enable this command the "Switch after downloading" menu becomes enabled. Use this menu to tell your Baker document how many files it should download before switching to the next news group in the list. Once your Baker document reaches the final newsgroup in the list it will start all over again.
This option tells your Baker document to cycle through all the news servers in your database. Once your Baker document finishes downloading from one news server, it will automatically log on to the next news server and begin downloading.
Your Baker document does not download the entire list of articles, commonly known as headers, at one time. Sometimes the list of headers can be very long. You can use this menu to tell your Baker document how many headers to download. If you have turned on the Cycle Through Newsgroups option, when you select the number of files to download before switching newsgroups, the number of headers to download is automatically set to a suggested value.
When you enable the Cycle Through Newsgroups options, this menu becomes enabled so you can tell your Baker document how many files it should download before switching to the next newsgroup.
This is the number of minutes you want your Baker document to wait for a response from the news server. once the limit is reached, your Baker document will re-connect to the news server and attempt to download the article again. After failing to download an article two times, your Baker document will automatically skip the offending article and resume downloading at the next article in the list.
