Image 7 - Threaded Decoding
NewsHunter 2 supports threaded decoding of images and files. This means more time downloading and less time waiting for files to be assembled and decoded. In the screen shot below, you can see that several files have been decoded, one file has some missing parts, and at the bottom, a new thread is "Starting..." And if you look in the Document Controls section at the top of the window, you can see that NewsHunter continues to request data from the news server.
